HAT RACKS ARE IN EFFECT FOR WOMEN WITHOUT HATS, PEOPLE SAY

People in New Zealand say they are increasingly using hat racks to get around in the dark.

The New Zealand Herald reports that in one area of the country, women are now required to wear masks as part of a new policy that is expected to be rolled out nationwide in 2018.

It’s not just men who are wearing masks.

The country’s first female police chief has also announced that the country’s police force is also considering using hats as part the police force’s uniform.

In one instance, a woman was stopped for not wearing a hat, but was arrested and charged with a “hate crime” because she did not wear a mask.

New Zealand is a small country, but it’s home to a diverse population of people from all walks of life.

The Herald reports the New Zealand Police Service said the new policy will help them “improve the safety of New Zealanders.”
